The AICAD (Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design) Mobility Program provides an opportunity for advanced students from art and design colleges throughout the United States and Canada to study studio art for one semester at one of more than 30 member institutions in locations such as Los Angeles, Memphis, Toronto, New York, Kansas City, and more.


The Museum School has reciprocal exchange agreements with several renowned institutions throughout Europe and beyond. The exchange program offers independent and self-motivated students the opportunity to be fully immersed in an international education experience. Museum School students can be found studying in The Netherlands, Israel, France, Ireland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Smart Traveler App Released by State Department

The U.S. Department of State has released its new iPhone App Smart Traveler, a tool designed to provide easy access to frequently updated official country information, travel alerts, travel warnings, maps, and U.S. embassy locations. Drawing on content posted to www.state.gov and http://travel.state.gov, this free app allows users to see travel warnings and alerts issued by the State Department, gather background information about different countries, and find U.S. embassies and consulates overseas.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The Gilman Scholarship Program, administered through Institute of International Education, offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.
