Student Orientation Leaders (SOLs) are an essential part of making the New Undergraduate Student Orientation Program a success. Serving as a SOL is a serious commitment that requires a high level of responsibility, time, and effort. We are looking for responsible, compassionate, motivated, and articulate individuals who are excited about the Museum School.

Applications for Fall 2012 Student Orientation Leaders are due by March 1. Application forms may be picked up at Student Affairs.

The School governance structure is based upon a Faculty Committee system. The committees meet on a broad range of subjects and make recommendations for change to the President of the School. Students are an integral part of the committee structure and bring a valued perspective to the discussions that take place. For those committees that have student participation there are typically two positions available. Students can be nominated by a faculty member, staff member, fellow student, or self-nominated.

Nominations are collected by the Student Affairs office and are reviewed by the Dean of Students and the Dean of Faculty for placement.
