Spring 2011: Submit to a new text art show space

Case Sensitive: the text art show space.
 
Submit your text work for display in the yellow directory board located in the B-side basement. Your medium: 0.5 and 1.5 inch plastic HELVETICA letters.
  • Rolling submissions.
  • A case with 300 0.5 inch and 300 1.5 inch white plastic uppercase Helvetica letters provided.
  • Minimum length of your show: 2 weeks. Extensions will be determined by the amount of following submissions.
Stop by Student Affairs any time to pick up an application form.

THE UNDERGROUND GALLERY is an accessible wall space for students to create and curate exhibitions and was developed in response to student need for more immediately accessible and experimental exhibition space. The Underground hosts three shows per semester and accepts proposals on a semester-by-semester basis.

APPROVAL FOR USE OF COMMON SPACE @ 230 the Fenway STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE
 
This form is intended to facilitate the process for requesting use of common spaces for art projects. Requests are reviewed primarily with a focus on health and safety, guided by city, state and federal regulations, laws and codes.
 
This process may require approval from one or more areas of the school and/or museum (Facilities, Administration, Areas, Area Reps., etc.); every effort will be made for timely approval, but there is no set timeline for notification of approval. Students are advised to submit requests well in advance of the date they wish to begin work to ensure satisfactory results.
 
The student is responsible for identifying a faculty or staff sponsor for every project. Sponsors act as advisors for the project and assume some responsibility for addressing issues should they arise.
