Digital Images for Class Presentations
Visual Resources would be glad to create digital images for Students and Faculty for their class presentations and for research. You can order your digital images by completing the Photography Request Form found under Handouts on this page.
Digital Images of Your Own Artwork
Take advantage of this digital imaging service! Visual Resources can photograph artwork of Students and Faculty at a very reasonable cost!

ARTstor
ARTstor is a nonprofit digital image library of over 1.2 million images in the arts, architecture, humanities and social sciences. ARTstor is accessible to SMFA Students, Faculty and Staff who have registered with ARTstor on one of the computers in SMFA's W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library or on one of the Mac computers in the school's Mac Lab. Registering also gives Students, Faculty and Staff 120 days of Remote Access.
Delicious
Delicious is an innovative image resource accessed free offline. Visual Resources' Delicious account is called Digital Gold at SMFA's Bookmarks.
Delicious is a powerful image resource. SMFA Students, Faculty and Staff can set up their own Delicious accounts. They can save Bookmarks of their favorite image collections and may share their Bookmarks with any subscriber to Delicious. Being able to share a seemingly infinite number of digital images is an exciting function of Delicious.

MFA, Boston Online Collection
The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston ( www.mfa.org) has an Image Collection of over 160,000 images that represent artistic expression that spans the history of art.
CAMIO - Subscription Image Collection
OCLC's Catalog of Art Museum Images Online is a growing collection documenting works of art from around the world, representing the collections of prominent museums. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, subscribes to CAMIO and is one of the 25 museums that contribute images to this fine resource.
Visual Resources' Digital Image Collection
The Digital Image Collection of Visual Resources is a collection of over 3,000 images that support the curriculum of SMFA. Visual Resources would like to announce that the Collection will be finding a new home in Fall 2011.
The images and their metadata will be transferred to MDID, the Madison Digital Image Database where the SMFA community will be able to Browse for images!
